Urban Environment Creation Lesson 8

^ At this point, Jeff pulls everyone over to my computer and explains that, well, the Voice is wrong. Hopefully, everyone learned from the mistake I made. The mistake? Doing what the Voice said to do. The solution? Throwing a pity party. Trust me, it's better than throwing something else...the computer, comes to mind...

Urban Environment Creation Lessons 1-3

This time I will be making an urban environment. Woohoo. As usual, the first few lessons are of no big importance - all they do is show what the end product will (hopefully) look like and go over a few of the tools that will be used throughout the course.

The version of Maya that is being used by Digital Tutors is Maya 8.5 and not Maya 2012.

I had several problems with this lesson. Maya refused to work on the first two computers I tried to use. Sneaky shortcut keys are sneaky. But I think I finally got it. Finally.
